Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive to Varanasi When you arrive at the Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, one of our staff members will meet you and help you check into your hotel. Once you're feeling better, go out and see some of the city's most famous temples, like the Tulsi Manas Mandir, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, the Durga Temple, the Tridev Temple, and the Kaudi Mata Temple. At night, head to Dashashwamedh Ghat to watch the lovely Ganga Aarti, a religious event with chanting, lamps, and incense. Take a peaceful boat ride on the River Ganga and experience the beautiful views of the ghats that are illuminated up. Stay in Varanasi for the night.

Day 2

From Varanasi via Gaya to Bodhgaya After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Bodhgaya, which is one of the most holy locations for Buddhist pilgrims. When you get there, see the Mahabodhi Temple Complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is where the sacred Bodhi Tree helped Lord Buddha become enlightened. People from all over the world come to see the Vajrasana (Diamond Throne) and other meditation spots. You might also view the Great Buddha Statue and the Buddhist countries' monasteries around the world, such as Thailand, Japan, Tibet, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka. If you have time, go to the Bodhgaya Archaeological Museum. Spend the night in Gaya or Bodhgaya.

Day 3

Go from Gaya to Allahabad (Prayagraj) After breakfast, check out and go to Allahabad (Prayagraj), a city that is very important for both history and religion. When you reach there, head to the holy Triveni Sangam, which is where the Ganga, Yamuna, and legendary Saraswati rivers meet. There, pilgrims take a holy dip to purify their souls. Visit the Hanuman Temple, the Akshayvat Tree, and the outside of Allahabad Fort to keep your journey continuing. You should also go to Anand Bhavan, the Nehru family's ancestral home. It tells the story of India's struggle for freedom. Check into your hotel and spend the night in Allahabad.

Day 4

From Varanasi to Allahabad After breakfast, drive back to Varanasi. When you arrive, go to your hotel and rest. You have the rest of the day free. You can visit the ghats, local marketplaces, silk weaving districts, or temples again whenever you like. In the evening, enjoy the peaceful spiritual atmosphere next to the Ganges. Spend the night in Varanasi.

Day 5

Leaving Varanasi After breakfast, leave the accommodation. Depending on when you leave, you could have time to do some last-minute shopping or visit a temple one final time. After that, you will be transported to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station for your next travel. This will be the end of your spiritually rewarding pilgrimage.
