Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive in Guwahati, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, and drive to Shillong, the Scotland of the East. Evening free to explore Police Bazaar. Overnight in Shillong.
Excursion to Cherrapunji. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and Mawsmai Cave. Stop at Elephant Falls on the way back to Shillong.
Drive to Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village. Hike to the single decker living root bridge. Continue to Dawki and enjoy a boat ride on the transparent Umngot River.
Drive from Shillong to Kaziranga National Park. Check into your wildlife resort and relax by the bonfires in the evening.
