Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 01

Delhi to Agra (250 miles, around 4 hrs) When you travel to Delhi, your driver will meet you and show you around Old and New Delhi. Start with Jama Masjid, which is one of the biggest mosques in India. Then drive through the crowded streets of Chandni Chowk. Visit Raj Ghat, a serene memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. On your way to New Delhi, you should pass past India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Then go see the amazing Qutub Minar, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, drive the freeway to Agra. When you arrive there, settle into your nice hotel and take it easy. Spend the night at Agra.

Day 02

Go from Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri. You will never forget going to the Taj Mahal in the early morning at daybreak, when the monument is lit up in a magnificent golden light. After breakfast, go to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that used to be the home of the Mughal emperors. Later, go to Jaipur. On the way, stop in Fatehpur Sikri, the Mughal capital of Emperor Akbar that is now empty. People know it for its grand gates, palaces, and courtyards. Go on to Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan. After you check in to your hotel, you can do whatever you want for the remainder of the night. Spend the night in Jaipur.

Day 3

From Delhi to Jaipur After breakfast, begin your tour of Jaipur. Visit the beautiful Amber Fort, which has both Hindu and Mughal styles of architecture. Take pictures at the lovely Jal Mahal (Water Palace). Next, head to the City Palace, where the royal family of Jaipur still lives. Next, visit Jantar Mantar, a prominent astronomical observatory and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Jaipur's most famous building is the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds. Take pictures there. At night, drive back to Delhi and drop off at the airport or anywhere you want. This is the end of your Golden Triangle Tour.
