Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive in Varanasi and go to the Ganga Aarti in the evening. Our representative will meet you at Varanasi Airport or the Railway Station and drive you to your accommodation. After you check in and have some free time, travel to Dashashwamedh Ghat at night to watch the lovely Ganga Aarti, a profoundly spiritual rite that includes lamps, chants, and devotion. Then, for the night, return to your place of stay in Varanasi.
Sightseeing all day in Varanasi At dawn, take a boat trip on the River Ganga to see morning prayers and celebrations along the ghats. After breakfast, see some of Varanasi's most famous temples, like the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the Annapurna Temple, the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, the Durga Temple, the Bharat Mata Temple, and the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Stay in Varanasi for the night.
Go to Sarnath After breakfast, head to Sarnath, the sacred site where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit important places like the Dhamek Stupa, the Chaukhandi Stupa, the Ashoka Pillar, and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum. In the evening, go back to Varanasi. Spend the night in Varanasi.
Prayagraj to Varanasi (120 miles, or about 2.5 hours) After breakfast, get in your automobile and drive to Prayagraj (Allahabad). The Triveni Sangam is a sacred place where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet. Visit the Akshayvat Tree, Hanuman Temple, Anand Bhawan, and see Allahabad Fort from the outside to keep your journey going. Stay at Prayagraj for the night.
Prayagraj to Ayodhya (170 km / 4–5 hours) After breakfast, drive to Ayodhya, where Lord Ram was born and where people go to pray. When you get there, visit important religious sites including the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, and other holy ghats. Stay in Ayodhya for the night.
Ayodhya to Gaya After breakfast, head to Gaya, which is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. When you get there, check in to your hotel and take a break. You can do whatever you want at night. Stay in Gaya for the night.
Visiting the sites in Bodh Gaya and Gaya After breakfast, head to Bodh Gaya, where Lord Buddha got his enlightenment. You may see the Mahabodhi Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Bodhi Tree, the Vajrasana (Diamond Throne), the Great Buddha Statue, and a number of monasteries around the world. If you want to, you can undertake Pind Daan rituals at Vishnupad Temple later. Spend the night in Gaya.
Travel from Gaya to Varanasi (260 km / 6–7 hours) Get in your automobile and drive back to Varanasi after breakfast. When you arrive, check in at your hotel. You can shop, relax, or go to local ghats at night. Stay in Varanasi for the night.
Leaving Varanasi After breakfast, leave the accommodation. You will be taken to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station for your next excursion, and you will always remember this spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage.
